A reputed road traffic management and regulation service approached ValueCoders to create an online platform responsible for overseeing and enforcing traffic safety compliance on city roads as well as managing the flow of traffic in the city. The project was to develop an online platform that updates you regarding traffic violations, real-time information about accidents, closures, congestion, and much more. The goal was to make commuting easier and less stressful for everyone involved.
The requirement of the client was to develop an online platform that not only updates regarding the traffic violation you have gone through but also updates you regarding the ongoing route blockage events/activities, and various traffic department locations with a map view.
The app should provide services related to payment of traffic violation fines, driving test appointments, forms submission options for driving license, car registration, and passes), etc.

The goal was to create a user-friendly application-based platform that allows users to access various services, information, and utilities related to the transport sector, bringing convenience to citizens and transparency to the system.

Brainstorming
This is the very first step in project execution. It basically includes information gathering from stakeholders and documenting the same. The final prepared document is based on the SMART rule which stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
After documentation Wireframes are created which act as a blueprint defining the look and feel of the platform regarding all functionalities.
Designing Phase
After wireframes get finalized, UI developer, designs every single module along with the theme colour. Every module is interlinked with functionality having some dummy data in use.
Execution Phase
As per designs, the backend developer develops all the initial APIs, and frontend developers integrate all available APIs with best practices, making dynamic to all the screens.
Client Request Based Project Delivery
Developers are involved in discussions with clients daily and follow their suggestions and, in case of any feasibility challenge, developers give the alternative solution. And trying for clients to be in the same phase. Clients also mention the Jira and assign the task to developers as per the priority. The Deployment Phase
After integration or completion of any task that is mentioned on JIRA, we are doing unit testing on a local machine and merging with develop branch and deploying to the dev server and test deployed task on dev server by developer. Then send PR (pull request) for the main branch that will be deployed on the live server after review. We are using AWS servers for all kinds of deployment.
The major challenge faced during the development of this platform was Data Transfer. A set of data files were to be transferred from another source to the Traffic violation platform followed by the uploading process on the server.
